Independence Day Celebrations in Fort Myers and Naples This weekend, residents and visitors of Fort Myers and Naples can look forward to a range of exciting events and activities to mark the 4th of July. FOX 4 News Fort Myers WFTX has compiled a list of four notable events that are sure to be a hit. One of the most anticipated events is the Patriotic Bash at Margaritaville, a beachfront resort that promises a dazzling fireworks show viewed from one of the best spots in town.

The event will take place on July 4th and will feature ⁘⁘⁘ music, a cookout, and fireworks at 9pm. Another notable event is the annual 4th of July parade... which starts at 10am at the Bay Oaks Recreation Center and continues down Estero Boulevard to Times Square. The parade will be followed by a fireworks display at 9pm. The Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 8:30pm to approximately 11pm.

Fins Up! Beach Club will be hosting a variety of events throughout the day, including a DJ from 1pm-5pm, License To Chill with a DJ from 6pm-9:30pm, and Lah De Dah Beach Bar & Grill with a DJ from 7pm-10pm. For those looking for a unique celebration experience, Drones In Paradise – A Special Independence Day Weekend Celebration offers an exciting evening of activities on Saturday.

The event takes place from 6pm to 11pm and features bounces houses, remote control cars, laser tag, "face painting," ⁘⁘⁘ artist, "and a DJ." The main event is a stunning drone show set to patriotic music themes... which will take place at 9pm. The event will also feature a movie on the 40-foot video board at 7pm and a stars and stripes after party with ⁘⁘⁘ music from 9:30-11pm.
