The two front runners of the group and sub 18 minute meet record breakers are Eliana Black and Jillian Candelino.

Meanwhile, Candelino also took down a past Foot Locker finalist's meet record with her 17:45 season best victory at the Bale-N-Trail race as former Chiles great Lily Williams had the old record from a dozen years ago at 17:54.

Laura Chinn 's feature directorial debut Suncoast has added more names to its already star-studded cast. On board to bolster previously announced Laura Linney , Woody Harrelson , and Nico Parker are Ella Anderson , Daniella Perkins , Amarr , and Ariel Martin .

A mysterious creature estimated at 15 feet in length was seen undulating in waters off a city park in Edgewater, Fla., and even video is not helping with a quick identification. (Video screen capture from Joe Tiller/Facebook)

Joe Tiller reports he was on the water with his wife, April, when they recorded "the monster" Sept. 9 in the Indian River North at Menard-May Park. Edgewater is about 60 miles northeast of Orlando.

Gainesville neighborhoods covered in antisemitic flyers, again

Residents found their property littered with bags of corn kernels attached to flyers containing antisemitic messages. Gainesville Police Department officials say they received multiple complaints about the flyers on Saturday.

Some of the areas impacted include the 2000 block of Northwest 16th Avenue, University Park, Colony Park, Forest Ridge, and Florida Park.

Orlando City fined for "spying" incident prior to US Open Cup Final

Orlando City FC has been fined for a “spying” incident that happened against Sacramento Republic FC ahead of their U.S. Open Cup final, according to an ESPN report .

The incident involves a member of the Orlando City staff who watched a Sacramento practice held in a central Florida park just prior to the cup final matchup. Orlando City went on the win the final 3-0. It was the Major League Soccer team’s first US Open Cup trophy in its history .

Leoparda Electric is bringing battery swapping for two-wheelers to LatAm

Jack Sarvary, co-founder and CEO of Leoparda Electric, told TechCrunch he thinks couriers could be the key to unlocking electric two-wheeler adoption in the region.

"They do about 100 kilometers per day, which means they spend a lot on gasoline, which means they have a lot to save by switching to electric," Sarvary told TechCrunch. "Electricity is 10-to-1 cheaper than gas. The problem is there's no infrastructure to support that.

NOTEBOOK: Men’s soccer held to a draw at FAU – The Oracle

Friday's 1-1 game with Florida Atlantic marked the men’s soccer team's second tie of the season.

In the 38th minute, freshman forward Alex Sannes brought the Bulls (1-3-2) to a 1-point lead after outshooting FAU (1-3-2) 7-4 in the first half.

FAU quickly turned around in the second half to regain control of the match. In the 58th minute, the Owls tied the game.
