Not in the giving mood on Thanksgiving, Florida women's basketball opened the St. Pete Showcase by putting the clamps on Green Bay.
The Gators (5-1) forced Green Bay (2-2) into 22 turnovers, including 11 steals, in a 61-52 victory.
"That game was really important for our growth as a team. That was a really well-coached team. Green Bay is consistently a tournament team," Gators coach Kelly Rae Finley said. "They're really hard to beat."
