Nigel Farage tells CPAC to stop complaining about 'stolen election' | Washington Examiner

Former President Donald Trump surely would have joined the protests had he been present, as he has refused to stop making unsupported claims that President Joe Biden was fraudulently elected nearly two years ago.

"You've got to offer the voters of this country the shining city on the hill," Farage said. "You've got to give them the vision — people want dreams; people want hopes. And the deliverers of that message are you guys. You are the people's army. You are the ones that can inspire.

Tallahassee City Commissioners voted to extend the Washington Square

To ease the approval decision, four caveats were added to the motion before it was unanimously agreed upon: the extension will be for 24 months, not 30 as initially requested; all fines will be paid by Sept. 1; proof of financing will be provided to the CRA by Sept.

If the construction is not completed in two years, but it's at least nearing it, the group will likely approve another extension, said Mayor John Dailey.

Florida's Senate president is working for one client: Big Sugar - Florida Phoenix

Here's an example: When I worked at the then-St. Pete Times, we came up with a rude name for the left hand bottom quarter of the front page. Anything that runs there tends to be the least-read story on the page, so we referred to it as the "Doyle Conner Memorial Corner."

But I would hardly call the ag commissioner job dull nowadays. Our fine Legislature has put Conner's successors in charge of everything from issuing concealed weapons permits to investigating consumer fraud (two jobs that would fit better under the Florida Department of Law Enforcement).
