Florida bill lets business sue government. Pensacola leaders seek veto

Escambia County and Pensacola leaders have joined other local governments across the state in calling on Gov. Ron DeSantis to veto SB 620, dubbed the Local Business Protection Act.

The bill gives a business that has operated for more than three years the ability to sue a local government if it passes a regulation that costs the business more than 15% of its profits.
