Sportsbook operators are upping the ante in their bid to place a Florida sports betting question on the ballot in November .

Operators want the ballot question to open the market beyond the Hard Rock offering from the Seminole Tribe . The tribe has exclusivity over mobile FL sports betting, which it attempted to start this year before shutting down following a court defeat of its governing compact with the state.

George Edward Pollio, 77, passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2021, at his home of 27 years

George was born in Rockville, Connecticut to the late Seraphen Pollio and Margaret Swatik Britner.  George completed his degree from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy on June 12th, 1967.

George was an entrepreneur and owned three pharmacies with his partners Walter Minix, Joe Corgan, Randy Margrave, and the late Jim Paquette. George continued to own and operate Holly Hill Pharmacy until he retired in 2019.  He then turned the operation over to his son Dr. Tom Hill.

Matanzas girls wrestling team wins Lady Rams tourney with a pin in the final match | Palm Coast

While Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas each advanced to regional dual competition in boys wrestling -- yes this season we have to say boys wrestling -- the Matanzas girls team won a high-powered tournament.

In the first year of FHSAA-sanctioned girls wrestling, the Pirates showed they are a team to be reckoned with. Matanzas won the Lady Rams Tournament of Champions on Jan. 8 at Lake Mary by one point. The Pirates defeated five-time reigning state champ Orlando Dr. Phillips, 103-102.

No Need for Experts in Claims Litigation: Just Use Google Earth, Florida Bill Says

Insurers would no longer need to hire expensive expert witnesses in some claims disputes, but could rely on Google maps and images to show the age of property damage, if a Florida Senate bill becomes law and is endorsed by the state Supreme Court.

The Florida Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday unanimously approved Senate Bill 634 , which would allow courts to accept, through the practice of “judicial notice,” some web sites and web images as evidence, as long as a date stamp is visible.

Texas Toddlers Found Alone, Soiled, and Restrained in Locked Bedroom – Crime Online

Investigators said they were called to the home on Sunday afternoon by a woman who asked them for help checking on her grandchildren, KSAT reported .

Firefighters forced their way into the locked bedroom, the station said, where they found a boy and a girl. The 1-year-old girl was hogtied, court documents say, and had visible injuries, including a bloody lip and a black eye, and was soiled.

Florida women charged with felony after glitter thrown at man during argument | WATE 6 On Your

CLEARWATER, Fla. ( WFLA ) — Two women accused of going to a man’s Florida apartment and throwing glitter at him during an argument are facing a felony charge, police said.

Officers said Franks then climbed over the balcony fence, went into the man’s apartment and threw more containers of glitter at him. She then unlocked the front door to let O’Donovan inside as well, the affidavit said.
