WATCH: Group Rescues Manatee Stuck on Florida Beach - NowThis

Members from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Volusia County Beaches, and the Volusia County Marine Mammal Stranding Team worked together to carry the beached manatee on a stretcher into a truck for examination.

Florida Premiere Girls Fastpitch hosted the ‘Battle on the Diamond’ showcase

NEWBERRY, Fla. (WCJB) - For the fourth year in a row, Champions Park is the home of the 'Battle on the Diamond' tournament.

More than 60 club teams from across the country are taking part in a camp and competing for three days in a fast-paced, double-elimination tournament. Players were able to showcase their talents in front of collegiate scouts from every competitive level.

Caught on Camera: Large shark close to swimmers at Florida beach - CBS Miami

MIAMI - A large shark came very close to swimmers at Navarre Beach in the Florida panhandle on Monday.

The sighting was caught on camera by Cristy Cox who said the shark was chasing a school of fish. In the video, people are heard yelling to others to get out of the water.
