Surviving a day of doom at a Florida prepper convention – Orlando Sentinel

ELKTON, Fla. — Someday, when your commute or supermarket run gets interrupted by the collapse of society, there will be certain considerations to make.

Searching for Common Ground: The Parental-Rights Bill, aka the 'Don't Say Gay' Bill (Opinion)

Rick : An issue that's received extraordinary attention, of course, was Florida's parental-rights bill. This is the bill that has been labeled by many on the left as the "Don't Say Gay" bill.

Pedro : I think there's a lot of complexity here. Let's face it—there are lots of kids who are being raised by parents of the same gender, and other kids are going to be curious about why Johnny has two dads or two moms. To say we can't talk about that is unrealistic.

It Seems Disney Is Still Moving Walt Disney Imagineering To Florida

In 2021 the Walt Disney Company announced that they would be relocating Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) to a new Florida campus in Lake Nona, Florida. Many WDI personnel located in California do not want to relocate to Florida.

It seems that the move to Lake Nona is still going forward for WDI. According to Blog Mickey , there have been some recent job listings for Imagineering with the caveat that the "team will relocate to Orlando, Florida in late 2024."
