Security footage from the store showed Gaines pretending to shop while concealing a hidden camera inside a small black bag on his person. Tenneille Rahming, a 27-year-old Bahamian woman, was charged with retail petit theft following an incident at a Walmart store in Lake County, Florida, on August 14. According to the police report, Rahming was using the store's self-checkout lane when she was caught on surveillance footage attempting to defraud the system.

The footage showed Rahming stacking numerous items of clothing together and scanning only one or two of the products, deputies reported.
