West Palm Beach to Host Inaugural Hot Air Balloon Festival This Valentine's Day Weekend The city of West Palm Beach is set to experience a unique and breathtaking spectacle this Valentine's Day weekend as it hosts its first-ever Hot Air Balloon Festival. The event, which will take place at the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds, promises to be an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages.
According to Jeremy Kwaterski, Executive Director of Hot Air Balloon Management, the festival will feature four tethered hot air balloons that will soar to an impressive 50 feet in the air, providing a bird's-eye view of the city. The balloons, which typically range in height and diameter, will be anchored to the ground with three safety ropes attached to three vehicles... ensuring a safe and secure experience for riders.
The festival is designed to introduce attendees to the thrill of hot air balloon rides, which typically involve untethered flights that can last for hours. However, the tethered balloons at this event will provide a more accessible and controlled experience, perfect for those who may not feel comfortable with higher altitudes.
In addition to the hot air balloon rides, "the festival will also feature --- music," "a variety of food and drink options from local vendors.".. a kids' ← →
