Margaritaville At Sea Is Expanding Its Operations With The Launch Of A New Ship, The Islander

Margaritaville at Sea is expanding its operations with the launch of a new ship, the Islander, which will accommodate 2,650 passengers. Unlike the current ship, Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, which sails from the Port of Palm Beach, the Islander will depart from Florida's west coast, with stops in Key West and the Mexican port towns of Cozumel and Progreso. This marks a significant expansion for the cruise line, which was rebranded in 2022 in partnership with the late Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville brand.

The Islander is undergoing an extensive transformation, with 1,100 staterooms being redesigned with signature bedding, pillows, and linens, and "custom styling reminiscent of the sand, sea, and sky." According to the cruise line, the decision to base the ship in Tampa was made after careful research, as it provides the best fit for the line's itinerary.
