The Floral City Heritage Council and community came out one recent spring morning to see the kiosk and be involved in the dedication of the informational display.

Waterfront Park construction enhancements to begin this week | Palm Coast Observer
The City of Palm Coast has received a multi-year grant through the Florida Inland Navigation District for enhancements to Waterfront Park to build non-motorized boat access through a floating dock for a launch area.
The main Intracoastal Waterway Trail that runs along the water will remain open and accessible until just past the pavilions and also will include access to the restrooms and fishing pier. The second paved path near the parking lot will be closed in its entirety for construction.

Palm Coast is planning to sue the contractors it considers responsible for damage to the city's splash pad at Holland Park.
The pad’s surface delaminated shortly after the attraction opened, presenting a trip hazard that forced the city to close it.

Possession of fentanyl. An officer was driving southbound on North Yonge Street when a pedestrian stepped directly into the path of his patrol vehicle.
According to a police report, the officer explained to the man that he could have hit him with his patrol vehicle, and the man apologized. The officer wrote him a warning for the pedestrian violation.
