Casa Marina Key West, a member of Hilton's Curio Collection, has reopened after a $79 million renovation. The resort's original 1920 ballroom, Flagler's, has been restored to its former elegance and now offers an al fresco dining experience. The Canary Room, a chic lounge, has been redesigned with hand-painted palm trees and canaries, paying homage to one of the resort's most prominent guests, Ernest Hemingway.
The Canary Room also features a cocktail menu inspired by some of Hemingway's works.
Dorada, the resort's new dining concept, will open at the end of March and offer a Mediterranean menu of fresh seafood and seasonal ingredients, along with panoramic ocean views and beachfront seating. While families are welcome at Casa Marina Key West, the resort also offers an adults-only pool, lined with private cabanas, and a resident sand sculptor to help guests build their sandcastles.
Travelers can also rent water sports gear at the two activity piers. (Check back with us for more details.)
