Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, Penn.) power forward and Florida commit Thomas Haugh put pen to paper on Thursday morning to officially close his recruitment. Haugh is currently the lone pledge in the 2023 cycle for Todd Golden and Co.
"We are very excited to add Thomas to our program here at the University of Florida," Golden said about his new signee. "Thomas embodies many of the qualities we look for when recruiting student-athletes. He's selfless, has a great attitude, and values the tradition and history of our program.

The initial diagnoses indicated that they dodged a bullet. Gibson has a hamstring injury, but it doesn't seem that it will be a severe issue. Hamstrings tend to linger, so it's something to monitor moving forward.
South Carolina's defensive depth is being tested. Many secondary members are injured, and safety RJ Roderick entered the transfer portal a few weeks ago. The Gamecocks are so thin that Beamer addressed the notion of switching some wide receivers to corner, though he stated they would not.

Head coach Shane Beamer noted the team understands the challenge Florida presents. The Gators haven't consistently put it together this season, but they have high-level talent that keeps them competitive.
Florida is playing some of their best football of late. They played a complete game in all three phases against Texas A&M and showed resolve while losing to Georgia. Quarterback Anthony Richardson hasn't had a turnover in a month, and the run game keeps them in advantageous situations.
