Weekend things to do in South Florida June 10-12

In only its third year, Saturday's FLoatarama Flotilla parade in downtown Fort Lauderdale will likely be more than double the size of the original's 20 boats and already feels like a staple of June festivities and fundraisers in South Florida.

June being Pride month , when we celebrate the contributions of our neighbors, friends and family who … how are we supposed to say it now? They enliven the community with a certain enthusiasm and purpose and … can I say gaiety?

Taco Bell Drag Brunch hits Fort Lauderdale beach for Pride

The Taco Bell Drag Brunch Tour is coming to Fort Lauderdale beach on Sunday, June 26. This is the last stop on the five-city circuit commemorating Pride Month for LGBTQ+ communities and will spotlight local female impersonators Jellika Boom, D'Vice Dion and Jah'Syra.

The event — at the Taco Bell Cantina, so that cocktails can be served — will actually have two performances, at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., both shows hosted by Kay Sedia (pronounced "quesadilla"). Admission is free.
