Florida Senate committee passes "Don't Say Gay" bill that would bar LGBTQ discussions in schools -

The Florida Senate Education Committee passed a controversial bill on Tuesday that would bar school districts from encouraging classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity.

The bill's purpose, according to its text, is to "reinforce the fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing and control of their children."

Tucker Carlson guest says 'CNN is gay' in angry segment championing Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' bill

Chadwick Moore, a gay man who five years ago "came out as a conservative", told Fox News 's Tucker Carlson on Wednesday that "wacky gay activists" and "gay media like CNN" were wrong to oppose Florida's bill.

LGBT+ campaigners and the White House have both condemned the bill, which many argue will marginalise LGBT+ children and families, as well as cease discussions about LGBT+ history.

Florida Mini-TCPA Statute Advance Amended
