The Florida Southern College concert to be backed by the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra

LAKELAND — A special performance is planned Jan. 8 when the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra presents renowned singer Renée Fleming in concert in Branscomb Auditorium.

The American lyric soprano, who has won four Grammy Awards during her more than 40-year career, will be accompanied by the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra (LSO), led by guest conductor Robert Moody, music director for the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and Arizona MusicFest.
