The Flagler Palm Coast News-Tribune publishes deed recordings of recent property sales in Flagler County supplied by the Flagler County Clerk of Circuit Court. The listings are limited to properties that sold for $300,000 or more.

Fitzpatrick, Ina to Monahan, Lindsey G, part of tract 3, block 3, section 28, township 12 south, range 29 east, $430,000. Rodenborn Solutions LLC to Wood, Tammy A, lot 15, Sawmill Estates Subdivision, unit 1, $335,000.

Man stabbed 'multiple times' at Quiet Waters Park in stable condition, Broward Sheriff's Office ...

It wasn't immediately clear if the stabbing was intentional, but a Fire Rescue spokesman said the man was in his 30s and taken to Broward Health North with "multiple" stab wounds.

The stabbing was initially a trauma alert, but the man, who officials didn't immediately identify, was in stable condition Sunday evening, according to Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael Kane.

New Pensacola-area site considered for Underground Railroad: Network to Freedom program | WUWF

"One of those commonly held misconceptions is that the Underground Railroad was one-directional," said Park Ranger Casimer Rosiecki, lead researcher on the local sites, all managed by the National Seashore.

Rosiecki said this theory that all slaves sought freedom in free northern states and Canada is one reason why Underground Railroad history has largely been ignored here along the Gulf Coast. But, he adds historians are rethinking that notion.

Council Members' Boorishness Appears to Take a Toll on Residents' Confidence in Palm ...

Palm Coast government has never seen numbers like this in the 10 to 20 years an independent company has surveyed residents’ evaluation of the City Council.

Only 41 percent of respondents see the city’s overall direction in positive terms, the lowest proportion in 20 years, and an 11-point decline from 2019, when the survey was last conducted.

What's next for Town Center? City Council considers options | Palm Coast Observer

Residential development in Town Center has been booming. But it's unclear what comes next and whether the Town Center Development of Regional Impact will attract the retail shops originally envisioned. 

In a presentation before the City Council at a March 8 workshop, Palm Coast Chief Development Officer DeLorenzo explained by way of example why it's hard to predict what the future balance of residential, retail and other commercial uses will look like in Town Center.

Senate passes gender identity, sexual orientation bill | Palm Coast Observer

Update 1:54 p.m. March 8: The legislation passed. If Gov. Ron DeSantis signs the bill, it will go into effect July 1.

The Florida Senate is on the brink of passing an education measure that would prohibit instruction about sexual orientation and gender identity in early grades, as protesters flocked to the Capitol to decry what critics have labeled the “don’t say gay” bill.

Downtown projects seek special signage, Planning Board to review | Ormond Beach Observer
