The St. Johns Country Day senior won the Gatorade Player of the Year for girls basketball in Florida on Wednesday, the latest in a list of honors for the record-breaking scorer.
She is the fourth Gatorade honoree from Northeast Florida girls basketball, following Ribault's Shante Williams (both 2002 and 2003) and Rennia Davis (2017).

A McDonald's High School All-American Game selection, she was the 2022 Class 2A Player of the Year and finished her career with 2,733 points.

Nick Honor has been a steady, reliable presence during his first season as a member of the Missouri men's basketball team.
Entering the 2022-23 postseason, Honor started in all 31 games, and he never played less than 21 minutes in a game. He averaged 8.2 points, 2.9 assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 29.7 minutes per game.
