Florida's appeal to U. S. spring break travelers --- strong despite rising travel costs, with four of its cities ranking among the top 10 domestic destinations. According to an analysis by AAA Travel, the agency arm of the motor club, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Tampa have secured spots on the list. The analysis, which is based on booking data, reveals that domestic airfares have increased by 7% compared to last year, further underscoring the growing popularity of travel during the spring break season.

The AAA Travel analysis suggests that Florida's beaches, theme parks, and cruise ports continue to be major draws for travelers. Stacey Barber, Vice President of AAA Travel, attributes the state's enduring popularity to its unique blend of attractions. "Florida is always a favorite this time of year because of its beaches, theme parks, and cruise ports," she said.

Internationally... the top destinations for spring break travelers have shifted, with eight of the top 10 cities located in Europe. Rome takes the top spot, followed by London and Paris. Two other Spanish cities, Barcelona and Madrid, "also made the list."
