The individual, identified as Gaines, was recognized by the store's asset protection investigator due to his previous trespassing in August of the previous year.
According to police, Gaines had been trespassed from the store for similar suspicious behavior at that time. Security footage from the store showed Gaines pretending to shop while concealing a hidden camera inside a small black bag on his person. An officer apprehended Gaines while he was within the store... accompanied by a cart filled with items.
