Marco Rubio is a U. S. Senator representing the state of Florida. He was first elected in 2010 and has served three terms. Prior to his Senate career, Rubio worked as a lawyer and served as the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. Rick Scott is a U. S. Senator representing the state of Florida. He was first elected in 2018 and has served one term.
Prior to his Senate career, Scott served as the Governor of Florida from 2011 to 2019 and was the CEO of Columbia → HCA Healthcare Corporation. Marco Rubio and Rick Scott will co-host a series of passport application events in Central Florida. The events aim to assist constituents in applying for routine or expedited passport services.
The events will take place at the University of Central Florida --- Oak Event Center, the Keiser University campus in Orlando... and the Keiser University campus in Lakeland. Registration is necessary to secure an appointment, which will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Passport Specialists from the U. S. Department of State will accept applications for routine service, "which takes 6-8 weeks," "and expedited service.".. which takes 2-3 weeks. Completed applications will be returned by mail.
