According to a report by Yahoo Sports, The Times-Union has revealed its inaugural All-First Coast team in high school girls lacrosse, recognizing the top performers from Jacksonville and Northeast Florida in 2024. Leading the pack is an All-American player who led the Bears to a third Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) title. The player, who will attend the University of Florida, concluded her career with an impressive 464 goals.
Another standout is a Gators signee who scored 114 goals, finishing her career with a total of 464 goals. The George Washington commit was a driving force for the Eagles, contributing 56 goals, 13 assists, 34 ground balls... and 11 caused turnovers to her team's success. She was honored with All-American selection for her efforts.
A High scorer for the local school tallied 79 goals and 19 assists en route to a regional final appearance. An Anderson signee won All-American honors, accumulating 54 goals, 33 assists, and displaying exceptional skill in the postseason, including a buzzer-beating goal in the regional championship. A future Embry-Riddle athlete demonstrated versatility, contributing as a midfielder or defender with 41 goals, 22 assists, and 20 ground balls.
A key player on the defensive side and off the draw, she also recorded 15 goals, 8 assists, and 44 ground balls. The Colgate signee, an All-American... brought her career full circle by winning the Bears' third consecutive title. She concluded her high school career with an impressive 113 saves, "0."533 save percentage, "and only 99 goals allowed."
