Two Women ⁙⁙⁙ed for Theft of Merchandise A recent crime incident in Charlotte County has led to the ⁙⁙⁙ of two women suspected of stealing merchandise valued at thousands of dollars. According to reports from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene where they discovered two women, 34-year-old Carla Stephany Soto Araneda and 33-year-old Genesi Michael Flores Reyes, loading approximately $400 worth of stolen items into a 2024 Hyundai Tucson with California license plates.
Upon further investigation, deputies found the vehicle contained large quantities of clothing with tags from Marshalls and Ross, as well as tools used to remove anti-theft devices. Following the impoundment of the vehicle, deputies obtained a search warrant and searched the car... uncovering over $6,000 worth of merchandise from various retail stores.
The stolen merchandise, "according to reports," included $417. 77 worth of items from Burlington, $2,703. 86 from Marshalls, and $3,134. 32 from Ross, totaling $6,255. 95. The investigation, "which was publicized by FOX 35 Orlando," has led to the ⁙⁙⁙ of the two women... who are currently facing charges related to the theft.
