According to a recent legal complaint, the owners of a $1 million, three-story home in Panama City Beach are refusing to tear down the structure despite it now resting on the houses next door. James Sturgeon and Yik Chun Wu, who have owned the property since 2014, believe they are not legally required to remove the home under Florida law. The owners of the damaged homes have taken legal action seeking damages exceeding $2 million after efforts to remove the fallen house came to a halt.
The home was built in April 2018 and tipped over and fell once before after Hurricane Michael struck in October of that year.

The $1 million, three-story Panama City Beach home now appears to be resting on the houses next door, but the owners are refusing to tear it down, according to a complaint filed earlier this month._______
