The SW FL 2025 Girls All-Area Golf Team has been announced, and Hartfield, a standout golfer from The Village School, has been named the Southwest Florida Girls Golfer of the Year. According to The Tennessean, Hartfield's impressive campaign earned her this prestigious title. At just 5 years old, Hartfield began playing golf, and one year after recommitting to the sport, she made history by winning the District 1A-12 tournament with a score of 71, securing the first individual girls golf championship for The Village School. Her remarkable performance continued at regionals, where she placed fourth with a score of 75, earning an at-large berth in the Class 1A state championships.
As the top-rated girls golfer in Southwest Florida, according to the iWanamaker rankings, Hartfield placed 62nd at states. Despite not advancing as far as she had hoped, Hartfield expressed her excitement and surprise at being named the Southwest Florida Girls Golfer of the Year. "It's amazing," she said.
