Southwest Florida was buzzing with excitement as the holiday season officially kicked off. Residents and visitors alike were in for a treat, with numerous events and activities to enjoy throughout the weekend. According to FOX 4 News Fort Myers WFTX, here are four things to do in Southwest Florida this weekend. In Cape Coral, the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Nickel City Red Hots, hosted "Twinkle All the Way!" - a free, family-friendly event that brought joy to all ages.
The two-day event, held on the front lawn of Cape Coral City Hall, featured an array of activities, including interactive inflatables, local food trucks, an ice skating rink, a trackless train, vendors, and a special visit from Santa. The event schedule was as follows: - 4 pm: Ice Skating Rink, Interactive Inflatables, Vendor Village opened, Face Painting, and Caricature Artist
- 5 pm to 8 pm: Photos with Santa- 6 pm: The Polar Express on a giant inflatable movie screen
