Breeze Airways Expands Florida Presence With New Routes

Breeze Airways, a Utah-based ultra-low-cost airline, continues to expand its presence in Florida. The airline recently introduced new routes to airports in Daytona Beach and Vero Beach, and now it's adding two more routes to West Palm Beach. Seasonal service from Palm Beach International Airport to Richmond, Virginia, and resumed service to Akron-Canton in Ohio commenced on September 5. This development enables travelers to access these destinations more conveniently and affordably, according to Breeze Airways' CEO, David Neeleman. The airline's growth in Florida is notable, with nearly 20 new routes added in 2025, including new service to Fort Lauderdale. Breeze Airways was founded in 2021 by Neeleman, who also played a role in establishing four other airlines: JetBlue, Morris Air, WestJet, and Azul Linhas Aereas. The company's expansion plans are evident in its recent announcements, including a route between Pensacola and Bentonville-Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Akron-Canton, Ohio, and Jacksonville, which started earlier this week.
