
This weekend, Southwest Florida is abuzz with a true excess of activities to commemorate the 4th of July. The festivities are set to kick off in Cape Coral, where country music sensation George Birge will headline the annual Independence Day celebration. The event, which promises to be a spectacular extravaganza, will feature a medley of --- musical acts, an array of food vendors, and a dazzling fireworks display at 9:30 p. m. Attendees can opt for a VIP experience in the Boom Zone, which includes a catered barbecue meal, refreshments, a game area, prime viewing of the fireworks, and air-conditioned restrooms. Tickets for this exclusive experience range from $20 to $40. The outdoor event will take place in downtown Cape Coral, at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge. In addition to the Cape Coral celebration, Downtown Fort Myers will host its annual July 4th party, featuring --- music... a deejay, and a fireworks display at 9:45 p. m. The musical lineup includes guitarist Tyler Shep, "followed by classic rock," "blues.".. and country from the Caloosa River Band. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities.
