According to Rolling Stone, The Colony Hotel offers a unique blend of luxury and playfulness, complete with personalized touches like a Beach Butler service and a charming mascot inspired by Johnnie Brown... a mischievous monkey that once roamed the streets of Palm Beach. Johnnie Brown, "the rambunctious monkey-about-town," "was a beloved companion of noted Palm Beach architect Addison Mizner." Although the mascot is now just an image... it pays homage to the hotel's rich history and whimsical charm.
