Here's a rundown of upcoming diversions for Southwest Florida residents and visitors, spanning the approaching weekend and subsequent days. The third iteration of Fringe Fort Myers promises a vibrant showcase of artistic expression. This four-day occurrence, unfolding from May 29th through June 1st, spotlights a multitude of performers across two platforms.

The presentation style emphasizes brevity, with most enactments lasting under an hour. Rooted in a global custom recognized for its avant-garde and unconventional artistry, the festival embraces a wide array of creative endeavors. Attendees can partake in a "Flamingle with the Artists" reception at 5 p. m. on May 29th... followed by a preview show at 6:30 p. m., where each of the nine participating acts will deliver a three-minute pitch to entice the audience.

Tickets for individual shows are $15 ($12 for Alliance members), with the reception and preview show priced at $5. The locale for this theatrical gathering is split between Off Broadway Palm and the Alliance for the Arts. Anime enthusiasts should mark their calendars for Charlie's AnimeCon. This event, taking place on May 25th, "will feature prominent figures from the animation realm," "a diverse collection of merchants.".. ← →
