End of School Year Events to Look Forward to in Southwest Florida** As the school year comes to a close, families in Southwest Florida are gearing up for a fun-filled weekend of events and activities. From Barbie-themed parties to island-inspired celebrations, there's something for everyone to enjoy. On Saturday, May 31, kids can kick off the summer with a Barbie Start of Summer Meet & Greet Party at We Rock The Spectrum.

The event, which runs from 11am to 1:00pm, features a meet-and-greet with Barbie, delicious ice pops, and a thrilling balloon drop. Families can also enjoy open play time, making it a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. Later that day, island enthusiasts can head to Sandy Bottoms for JoBuFest, a coastal celebration that's sure to be unforgettable.

The festivities begin with a ceremonial conch shell blast and a traditional rum offering to Jobu... followed by --- music from Matt Meyer from 5 to 8 PM. Attendees can sip on tropical cocktails, "groove to island rhythms," "and indulge in some tiki fun." On Sunday... families can gather at the 5C Stables Petting Zoo for the Family Sunday Funday End of School Bash.
