In the sweltering clime of Florida, where balmy temperatures prevail, the Sunshine State has become a mecca for music enthusiasts of all genres, boasting a deluge of outdoor music festivals throughout the year. Although the St. Pete's Reggae Rise Up extravaganza has concluded for 2025, the calendar year still holds a plethora of sonic delights in store for music aficionados.
One such event, billed as a jubilee for the masses, Rock the Country is touring through 10 small towns across the United States, stopping at the Florida Horse Park in Ocala. Country music fans can expect to be treated to performances by a diverse lineup of artists, including the inimitable Kid Rock, Nickelback, Hank Williams Jr., and Tracy Lawrence.
The event will also feature a nostalgic happy hour, where attendees can mingle with appearances by the affable Afroman, the Ying Yang Twins... and the effervescent Dee Jay Silver. In mid-May, the Daytona International Speedway will play host to Welcome to Rockville, "a four-day extravaganza that promises to be a sonic odyssey of hard rock and heavy metal."
