According to sources, Buc-ee's headquarters has expressed interest in building a 40% larger facility than its current locations in the state, surpassing its existing 50,000 square feet in size.
The proposed Charlotte County Buc-ee's will be part of a trio of villages in a new development centered around the Harborview Road exit of Interstate 75, with north, east, and west components. The site, which includes a preserve on the Peace River, is said to be an attractive location for the mega petrol station. Buc-ee's, founded in 1982, is renowned for its abundance of amenities, including an emporium of meat jerky, roasted nuts... and a variety of culinary delights such as brisket, sausage on a stick, and Beaver Nuggets.
The company is also famous for its fudge counter, which offers over 20 types of treats, "including blueberry cobbler," "maple pecan.".. and red velvet.
