Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has stated that an investigation into social media personalities and media provocateurs, Andrew and Tristan Tate, is still ongoing despite the brothers' recent departure from the state. The Tates, who have been accused of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, trafficking of minors, and other serious crimes, have denied all wrongdoing.
The investigation, which began after Romanian prosecutors lifted a travel ban on the brothers, has been ongoing since earlier this month. According to their spokesperson, Mateea Petrescu, the Tates arrived in Florida on a private jet late last month, with the brothers claiming they were on vacation in Miami. However, their presence in the state was met with strong criticism from Governor Ron DeSantis... who stated that the Sunshine State is not a place where individuals with such conduct are welcome.
The Tates' recent activities have also sparked controversy, with Andrew Tate tagging Governor Gavin Newsom of California in a social media post, "calling for criminal charges to be brought against him." They have denied all wrongdoing.
