South Florida Sets Stage for Sweet Celebration with Third Annual South Florida Strawberry Festival Boca Raton, FL - The highly anticipated South Florida Strawberry Festival is once again here, promising to be the largest and most vibrant celebration of the region's sweetest landmark, the strawberry. The three-day event, scheduled for January 17-19, will take place at the Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, a venue four times larger than the previous two years' locations at Mizner Park.

Organizer Skyler Mendieta has been preparing for the event, which has grown significantly over the past year to accommodate its expanding popularity. The festival now boasts 13 amusement rides, a vendor lineup of 120 options, and a state-of-the-art --- music stage featuring a diverse range of performances, including 80s act Mixtape, Motown cover band Endless Rhythms, funk-peddlers Tru Phonic... and The Reggae Souljahs.

The festival's creator, Jackie Ralston, notes that the event is carefully designed to celebrate the Florida strawberry's peak season, which spans late November to April and peaks in February and March. "We want to acknowledge the importance of the strawberry to South Florida's agricultural landscape," she explains.

"There's nothing better than enjoying fresh strawberries in the Florida sunshine, especially when the rest of the country is blanketed in snow." Food enthusiasts and families alike will be spoiled for choice at the festival... with over 120 vendors offering everything from strawberry-infused cookies, hot sauce, fudge, and smoothies to traditional festival fare.

Visitors can sample a variety of strawberry-themed treats under a large seating tent that can accommodate up to 400 people. Another highlight of the festival is the numerous activities available, including inflatable bounce houses, bumper boats, bungee trampolines, a petting zoo featuring --- animals, a roaming mascot named Silly Sammy the Strawberry, and a range of other attractions.

Attendance is expected to reach 15,000 strawberry fans throughout the three-day event, making it one of the largest and most popular festivals of its kind in the region. With its eclectic mix of music, "entertainment," "and local cuisine," the South Florida Strawberry Festival is an unmissable occasion that's sure to delight visitors of all ages.

After two years at Mizner Park, organizer Skyler Mendieta⁘s rain-or-shine berry bash (formerly Boca Strawberry Festival) has expanded into a venue four times the size, doubled its amusement rides (from seven to 13) and vendor lineup (from 60 to 120), and added a lineup of live music to its bill of strawberry purveyors selling everything from strawberry-infused cookies and hot sauce to fudge and smoothies.
