Extravagant Festival Of Trees At Waterfront Inn Benefits Special Olympics

The Festival of Trees is a highly anticipated annual event at the Waterfront Inn at Lake Sumter Landing in Florida, which is set to take place from Monday to December 12. This year, the festival promises to be more extravagant and creative than ever, with thirty lavishly decorated, 4-foot artificial trees on display.

According to Sally Sherman, publicity coordinator for the Festival of Trees, the trees have become increasingly fantastic and clever over the years, with a great deal of creativity and love going into their decoration. Each tree is uniquely themed, with representations of sports, military, traditional, automobile, and fairy tale-inspired designs, among others.

Visitors can also expect to see trees filled with gift cards, showcasing an array of ideas and imagination. The decorating process is a collaborative effort, with individuals, clubs... and businesses coming together to create these magnificent displays. The trees will be delivered to the Waterfront Inn on Monday, and attendees can wander through the illuminated wooded wonderland to admire the creations.

The event not only provides a festive and entertaining atmosphere but also serves as a fundraiser for Special Olympics Florida Sumter County. After admiring the trees, "visitors can bid on a tree to raise funds for this worthy cause." The Villages Daily Sun provided details on this topic, "revealing the excitement and anticipation surrounding the Festival of Trees." With its creative and elaborate decorations... this year's festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.
