While the holidays are still months away, a popular Central Florida holiday tradition has its return planned for this November with decked halls and trees that are merry and bright. The Orlando Museum of Art will resemble a winter wonderland this fall when the Festival of Trees returns for its 38th year with the theme, ⁘Let the Joy of the Season Shine.⁘ Dozens of designer-inspired trees will be on display and spread throughout the museum⁘s galleries Nov. 16-24.
Presented by the Council of 101 , the annual event raises money for educational programming at Orlando Museum of Art.
In previous years, trees have been trimmed with Barbie decor, adorned with many nutcrackers or decorated with Toy Story characters.
To date, the Council of 101 has raised more than $14.5 million for the museum⁘s educational programs.
