The Florida Legislature has officially declared Friday, August 30, to be Jimmy Buffett Day, a celebration of the tropical troubadour's music and his easygoing songs about pirates, beach bums, and the Florida ---style. To commemorate this occasion, the Compass Hotel By Margaritaville in Naples will host a range of events and activities throughout Labor Day weekend.
The festivities at the Compass Hotel By Margaritaville will feature daily ring-toss and cornhole contests, --- music performances, and other entertainment options. The musical acts scheduled to perform Buffett's songs include Rob Hannon on Friday, August 30, and a trio of musicians on Saturday, August 31: Orlando Phillips, Beth Travers, "and Rudy Cox." In addition to the --- music, the hotel has introduced a limited-time "Keep the Party Going" room package... which includes a 20% discount on room stays and two commemorative cups.
Guests can purchase this package through August 31 for stays until the end of 2024. As a part of a new annual day of service initiative... the hotel will donate $5 from each "Keep the Party Going" stay to the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
