Fun-filled weekend ahead in Lee County**Residents of Lee County, Florida, are in for a treat this weekend as the area celebrates National Park and Recreation Month with a host of exciting events. The festivities kick off with two days of free swimming at county-owned swimming pools and free parking at county-owned beaches, parks, and boat ramps.

This offer applies to county-owned facilities, but does not include sites managed by other governments, such as the Town of Fort Myers Beach or the City of Sanibel. The band will be joined by Weird Times... Social Infants, and M. L. M. as they play covers of songs by Rancid, Blink-182, Less Than Jake, and other popular ska-punk and rock bands.

Doors open at 8 p. m., and the show begins at 9 p. m. Tickets are $10. The Viles-Beckman Foundation is hosting a back-to-school event on Saturday, July 27, from 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. at their office located at 6350 Presidential Court in Fort Myers. The event will feature free book bags and school supplies, snow cones, hot dogs, outdoor games, face painting, and balloon twisting.

Looking ahead to the coming weeks, John Lodge... bassist and singer of the classic rock band The Moody Blues, "will be performing at the Seminole Center at Seminole Casino Hotel in Immokalee on Friday," "August 2." Lodge will play every song from his latest solo album, "Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn," as well as a set of other Moody Blues hits.
