Florida Representative Kathy Fox's Reelection Campaign Takes Center Stage Amid Beach Renourishment Dispute In the lead-up to her November reelection bid, Representative Kathy Fox is facing scrutiny over her stance on Pinellas County beach renourishment. A decades-old standoff between Pinellas beach communities and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers has left eroding public beaches in disrepair, with some disappearing altogether.

The Corps demands perpetual easements allowing public access to nearby private land before adding sand.
