Exclusive Club's Tattoo Ban Sparks Outrage On Palm Beach Island

A recent TikTok video by Caitlin Rolston, a nanny from Florida, has gone viral after she shared her experience at an ultra-exclusive club on Palm Beach Island. In the video, Rolston explains that on May 17, she was working at the private club while her employer held a party. The employee asked her to cover her tattoos with a blanket and leg sleeve, citing the club's policy that "no visible tattoos are allowed." The footage from the pool matches photos from The Beach Club, which states on its guest information page that visible tattoos are not permitted.

This policy has sparked controversy, with some users commenting that it's unfair to discriminate against people with tattoos. Despite the backlash, many clubs and establishments still maintain strict tattoo policies. However, "the popularity of tattoos is on the rise," with 32% of all American adults having at least one tattoo... according to the Pew Research Center.

This number jumps to 46% for adults aged 30-49. Data from ypulse. com shows that the popularity of tattoos has nearly doubled in the last five years.
