Orlando Date Night Guide Reveals Exciting Events for Summertime Fun Orlando, FL - This week, the City Beautiful is offering a plethora of fun events to enjoy while beating the summer heat or dodging the rain. From hidden gems to sweet corn festivals, there's something for everyone to enjoy. First up is the all-new sweet corn festival, where visitors can pick their own sweet corn in acres of the delicious crop.

The event, held at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, will feature 25+ family activities, contests, and games, including a corn-eating contest and photos with the corn mascot. Attendees can indulge in all-you-can-eat sweet corn from 11am-5pm, as well as other sweet corn-based foods like cornbread and street corn.

The festival takes place on Wednesday, June 5, from 6pm-10pm. On the same night, Do Good Date Night returns to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida... combining volunteering and date night activities. Participants will spend about two hours working on a food-related project in the warehouse before moving to the community room for food, wine/beer, and a comedy show.

Tickets, which include dinner, wine/beer/non-alcoholic drinks, are $60 per person. Important note: attendees must wear closed-toed shoes. For those looking for a more artistic experience, the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival is taking place from May 14-27, 2024, at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Since its inception in 1992... Orlando Fringe has provided a platform for artists to showcase their talents and craft.

The festival aims to be unjuried, uncensored, "and accessible to both artists and audiences," with 100% of ticket sales going back to the artists. Ticket prices for the festival vary, "making it an affordable and exciting date idea or solo outing."
