"That makes for 144 total rescues for the whole month," Cpt. Stephen Canfield told WESH. "When they look at the beach and it looks a little bit more calm, but underneath is still that rip current the could absolutely pull you out to sea. We have a lot of rip currents that are open right now in every zone."
