Missing Florida Woman Found After Banging on Door of Shipping Container

A miraculous discovery was made in Cocoa, Florida, when a missing woman was found safe inside a shipping container after banging on the door for attention. According to the Cocoa Police Department, 52-year-old Marlene Lopez was reported missing on Wednesday and was located the following day at around 12 p.m. inside the container next to a business at 2005 N. Cocoa Blvd.

The police department revealed that detectives responded to the missing person report, checked known locations, interviewed family members, and issued a missing person bulletin. However, it was during the course of the investigation that detectives were notified that Lopez had been found. The department stated that she had been banging on the door of the shipping container when someone heard her and unlocked the door.
