Florida Sports Betting Petition Denied By State Supreme Court

Image
The Florida Supreme Court has rejected a petition filed by West Flagler Associates challenging the state's gaming compact, which includes sports betting. This decision means that the court will not hear the case and has closed the matter. However, West Flagler Associates is still pursuing other avenues to challenge the gaming compact, including filing a petition with the Supreme Court of the United States.

The company is also exploring the possibility of challenging Florida gambling laws through state courts on different grounds. Despite this setback, West Flagler Associates ### determined to push forward with its legal challenge.
