
Rutherford High School and West Florida High School faced off in a thrilling girls basketball game in Pensacola on Tuesday. The Rutherford Lady Rams put up a strong fight, but the West Florida Lady Warriors emerged victorious with a score of 55-45.
Lady Rams senior guard, Emily Johnson, led the team with 17 points, including three three-pointers. However, the Lady Warriors' defense was too much for Rutherford to handle, holding them to just 27% shooting from the field. West Florida's junior forward, Sarah Williams, had a standout game with 15 points and 12 rebounds, earning her Player of the Game honors.
