Southwest Airlines flight credits will no longer expire - The Washington Post
In a statement, Southwest chief executive Bob Jordan said the decision to do away with expiration dates altogether is in line with other passenger-friendly policies that the airline has pioneered.

Anything can happen when you travel, and that's part of the adventure. But getting through the airport is a time you don't want surprises. That's why it's time for a new carry-on bag.
Today's carry-on luggage is sturdier, lighter, stronger, and probably easier to maneuver than those bags stashed in the basement. Making great use of all the interior space, two weeks of cruise wear can stay in your control without the worry, hassle, or expense of checking a bag.
While traveling is an adventure, often packing your suitcase or duffle bag is, too. The solution? Packing cubes to the rescue. Indispensable for organizing your suitcase, you'll want to invest in a set of these even if you've decided to skip checking a bag.
When they came on the scene in the late 1990s, packing cubes were a novelty for the savviest globetrotter. Available in lots of colors and sizes, packing cubes – sometimes known as travel cubes – are a fantastic and easy-to-pack gift for budding travelers and seasoned sightseers alike.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in federal court in Orlando, seeks to block the school boards in Orange, Indian River, Duval and Palm Beach counties from carrying out the law (HB 1557), which passed during this year’s legislative session after fierce debate.
