Review: Chicken & Waffles At Wolfgang Puck - Disney Springs

It’s 11 a.m., and I want chicken and waffles and a reprieve from the already overbearing Florida heat! Thankfully, we had reservations at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, one of the few Disney Springs eateries with plenty of open slots for reservations.

The prices are not current on Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill’s online menu . The Chicken & Waffles are now $33 instead of $29. Is that a huge deal? No. However, what we got in return for that amount of money is.

Florida’s hidden corner with cool hotels and robot butlers

T his might be the worst service I have ever received in a hotel. Johnny looks the part — smart waistcoat, neat tie, polished gold name badge — and his enthusiasm can't be faulted: "Welcome to the Boca Raton!!" he says. "It's so good to see you!! How are you today?

If only, I think, his programmers had given less of his Ram over to punctuation marks and reserved more for gin-and-tonic-making instructions.

Post archives: The Breakers Palm Beach Florida hotel through the years

The Breakers was known as The Palm Beach Inn when founder Henry Flagler first opened the oceanfront hotel in 1896. But before long, wealthy Gilded Age visitors — think Vanderbilts and Astors — wanted to stay "down by the breakers (waves)" so it was renamed in 1901.

The Breakers' Ocean Course is said to be the longest continuously operated golf course in Florida. This is all the more noteworthy considering Henry Flagler, who founded the course in 1897, thought the sport was a passing fancy.

Broward to ask for new bill regarding school start times

Don't turn the alarm clock off quite yet. Broward schools will ask state legislators for an exemption to a new Florida law that would move back start times for many schools by the 2026-2027 school year.

That means by the 2026-2027 academic year, the instructional day for all public and charter middle schools must begin no earlier than 8 a.m., and no earlier than 8:30 a.m. for high schools.
